Starwood Hotels & Resorts raises the ante for family experience starting this summer. A new family and friend program will precede the traditional children's programs of the past. This new program has been custom tailored of kids and grownups alike.
 The new "Love your Family" program will be offered at 29 participating resorts. First debuting in the U.S. and the Caribbean, soon expanding to Canada, Europe and Latin America by 2009.
This program was developed with input from guest feedback,
customer research and good old common sense, all of which suggest a good time
for the family. The new creative programming leaves no one out, kids and parents
are welcome.

The "Love Your
Family" experience includes three unforgettable experiences—Fireside
Storytelling, Stargazing, and Dive-in Movies – as well as local touches
depending on what property is visited. The common sense stuff includes services
that appeal to parents, including connecting rooms, food and beverage discounts,
and other unique packages and deals. These new services are attributed to the
newly appointed "Director of Fun."

The participating "Love
Your Family" resorts will feature a Director of Fun, the new family ambassador
of entertainment, who is responsible for the family hotel creating memorable
experiences. The Director of Fun will also have a "fun staff," who is responsible
for coordinating activities and experiences throughout guests' stay.

notorious for a relaxing time and now it add a unique family travel experience
by location. Every location will have its own unique experiences that can be
found at each participating "Love Your Family" resort. These unique experiences
will all include three entertaining options including Fireside Storytelling,
Stargazing, and Dive-In Movies.
The Fireside
storytelling allows families to gather around a campfire, roast marshmallows and
make S'mores while enjoying stories told by professional and locally relevant
storytellers.
Stargazing invites
families to join together, use telescopes and observe the night sky
constellations and learn about the stars and the galaxy.
Dive-In Movies
allows families go for a swim while simultaneously enjoying favorite family
films on the pool's big screen, paired with theme nights and coordinated
activities.

parents need some "alone time" every now and then. To deliver on this
experience, a core component of the program offers parents a guilt-free night
off while their children enjoy their own big night out, dining with other kids
