Offer valid from May 31, 2010 to August 15, 2010. Registration required. In order to qualify, member must first register and then purchase a non-refundable ticket at usairways.com for travel only on US Airways/US Airways Express. Allow one (1) to seven (7) days for Silver Preferred trial status to take effect following ticket purchase date (“Effective Date”). Silver Preferred trial status will only take effect with a ticket purchased for travel within the United States. Silver Preferred trial status will be valid for 90 days following Effective Date. Only tickets purchased at usairways.com will qualify; tickets purchased via any other channel will not qualify for the promotion. You must register before you purchase your non-refundable ticket and your Dividend Miles number must be included in the reservation at the time of ticket purchase. The last date to register and purchase a qualifying ticket is August 15, 2010; travel must begin by Sept 15, 2010. Offer valid for base level Dividend Miles members only. Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in non-qualification and no Preferred trial benefits. First Class upgrades
Enjoy the comforts of First Class. If an upgrade becomes available, we'll automatically upgrade you and a companion to First Class (when traveling in the same reservation). Complimentary upgrades may be awarded up to 2 days in advance.* Complimentary upgrades are subject to capacity controls and exclude travel to/from Hawaii and Europe, South America and the Middle East. Full-fare (Y or B class) economy tickets may be upgraded anytime after ticketing and include Hawaii. Companions must be booked on the same itinerary and be processed at the same time as the Preferred member.
First and second checked bag free (up to a $120 Value Roundtrip Per Person, a family of 4 with 2 bags each would cost $480 Roundtrip.)
You're exempt from the first and second checked bag fee; so are any passengers traveling with you on the same reservation, regardless of their status.
Bonus miles
Earn award travel even faster with an automatic 25% bonus for all paid, qualifying flights on US Airways, US Airways Express carriers, US Airways Shuttle and United Airlines, Continental Airlines and Lufthansa.

Priority check-in and boarding

Get to your seat faster, too. Silver Preferred members board US Airways operated flights in zone 2.

Standby fee waived
