When we compared flights to San Jose from other USA cities we found the airfares alone to be as much as double what we are selling airfares and five nights hotel for.
Heck, just the entry and exit tax into San Jose, Costa Rica is running about $100 per ticket.
The Barcelo also offers free transportation to and from the airport which is another great way to make this a cheap luxury getaway!
So get out those Spanish dictionaries and start learning phrases like "I have never seen so many parrots in my life" which is "Nunca he visto tan muchos loros en mi vida".
